In relation to the use of technological resources in the process of dismissal of workers, recently, the Labor Directorate (Ord. 288), pointed out:
1. It is not in accordance with the law to replace by an e-mail, the sending by registered letter of the written communication of dismissal, even with the consent of the worker.
2. If the letter of dismissal is delivered personally to the employee, it can be subscribed by digital means.
